Chase and Keith's first flights!!

Saturday, after a lot of waiting for the winds to settle down, both Keith and Chase were able to make their first flights. Way to go guys!! Unfortunately the thunder and lightning started off in the distance during Chase's flight so we decided not to send them back up for more. As we were packing up for the day a gentle rain started to fall confirming our decision to postpone additional flights until another day. The fun has just begun!!

Super windy and raining Saturday, so no flying. Instead, Chase came over and we assembled his new Miniplane! Then we did the hang test and broke in the motor per Miniplane's guidelines. We also through in a little indoor simulator training just for fun.

Another very busy weekend at Madcity Paragliding! Friday was spent the sledding hill getting Scott and Kieth their first short free-flights. Then we sent Scott up for is first paramotor flight! Not his first time soloing as he is a commercial pilot but still this flight put a perma-grin on his face that didn't fade all weekend. Way to go Scott!!

Both Alex and Paul flew their new paramotors for the first time Friday evening. Great job guys!! Saturday Scott and I spent the morning unboxing and assembling his new Top80 weight shift Miniplane. Then we spent the next hour breaking it in per the factory recommendations. Sunday it was back to the field for some spot landing practice. Kieth also got to kite his new Ozone Spyder for the fist time, beautiful sight.

Friday afternoon Alex and I finished assembling his new Weight Shift Top80 Miniplane. Then we put some fuel in it and completed the break in process. He is now ready to fly his own machine! Saturday, Paul and I built His new Miniplane after some simulator training. Next step for Paul is to add some AvGas and fire it up! Nice work guys!!
