 David and I met for a bit of Ice Flying Sunday. Rarely do we get a chance to fly in town but when the lakes are frozen it opens up an entirely new area for us. Just a few blocks from David's house is a boat launch for Lake Mendota, giving us access to 15.2 square miles of wide open playground! Foot dragging for miles!!

 I put on my Santa suit for a long X-mas eve flight, no reindeer requierd. Lots of people stopped and waved. I also saw quite a few cameras aimed in my direction too. Lots of fun. I can only imagine what the little kids were thinking when they saw Santa fly by on a paramotor. Unfortunately it was way to windy to fly X-mas day, I really wanted to go up again as Santa. Looks like I'll be waiting until next year.
