Monday was the opening day of EAA 2017 and the first time Paramotor Pilots arrived in mass. 40 or so of us, including Jeff Goin (author of The PPG Bible), Tucker Gott (YouTube PPG sensation), The Martins (Hi5PPG) and the rest of the Paradigm Acro crew. As well as two of my former students. What a great night, we gave the spectators quite a show as we easily outnumbered all the other ultralights at the field. Join us next year if you can!

Well, not yet but he will. If you need to launch using a forward it means the air is pretty calm. Which means the flying is usually nice and smooth. Keep practicing those forwards Allen!
Chase and I spent Saturday evening working on improving his landing accuracy. 15 flights that night. By the end of the day the 30' diameter target was getting a regular workout. Way to go Chase!!
Thanks Chase for this well composed photo of me and my Miniplane! I rarely get to see myself in photos, I'm usually the one taking the photos of you guys flying.
Congrats Allen! You are now officially a pilot! Welcome to the club. Before, during and after shots of Allen's first flight. The fun has just begun.
Monday was super hot and sticky but that didn't stop Michael and Allen from chasing their dreams of flying. We worked on launch skills in the park until we had enough and then returned to the shop to assemble Allen's new Miniplane. Next up? Add fuel and get that thing airborne!!
Saturday was a busy and successful day. Both Larry and his brother Jon were able to make their first flights today with their Blackhawk powered trikes! Keith was also there and he made a few more flights to complete his training and earn his PPG2 rating! Congratulations guys!! Alex, Chase, Allen, Mark and Sue were there too for some training and flying. What a great day!
Friday evening we were treated to some rare north winds. David, Matt, Steve and I were all able to take advantage of this gift with several short flights down the sledding hill. Next up for Matt and Steve is to add a motor and lengthen their flights. Some day soon...
I spent 4th of July evening launching colorful paramotorists into the sky. Left is David and right is Chase. Way cooler than fireworks!
