I took the weekend off of flying to pursue one of my other passions, sailing! This past weekend Milwaukee's South Shore Yacht Club played host to the Catalina 30 Nationals. My father, our good friend Rick and I have been racing our boat "Cool Change IV" together for over a decade. This was our third time participating in the nationals and our third national title. Four races were held this weekend and we won all four. Sailing is almost as much fun as flying!

The first step in Kaden's PPG training began last night with some taxi practice around the Verona airport. He did great and really looks like a pilot in his aviator sunglasses.
PPG at EAA!! So great to see PPG finally be featured in the airshow at EAA. Local Wisconsin boys Ethan and Arial Martin performed alongside four other paramotor pilots from France and Spain. They treated us to a spectacular demonstration of paramotor skills. One of the foreign pilots spun his wing in a "Helicopter" while descending. He also pulled off an amazing "Infinity Loop" flipping end over end for at least four consecutive flips! They ended the show with one of the pilots flying his wing backward then transitioning to a foot drag right in front of the crowd! Well done boys!!
Here she is all put together. I just need to mount the Miniplane to it and it'll be ready to fly! This is going to be fun!
