 My son Logan was the lucky one to spot the sparkle of the setting sun bouncing off my jettisoned helmet camera. Just 15 minutes into our search pattern he found it. Way to go Logan!

 I knocked the GoPro off my helmet last night as I was flying over this field. I spent over two hours walking search patterns until it got too dark to see. No luck :-( I'm taking my kids with me tonight to see if they can spot it. If that doesn't work I may get a metal detector to help "see" through the grass.
 It is just about time for Jon to take to the skies! Jon and I, along with his brother Larry and Larry's wife Su, spent the Sunday practicing our launch and taxiing. By the end of the day, Jon's confidence levels and skills were significantly increased. He and Larry were easily kiting the length of the runway, all 2,200' of it!! Great work guys!!
