Super busy and productive weekend at Madcity Paragliding. Three students kiting at the school Saturday morning, five of us at making sled runs at the sledding hill saturday afternoon and seven of us at the field Sunday. Alex made his first motorized flight Sunday to cap things off perfectly. Way to go Alex!!

Matt spent a couple hours hanging from a tree Saturday to simulate flying. We ran through all kinds of drills in preparation for the real thing. Hopefully most of the things we rehearsed he will never encounter but if he does he'll know what to do. Ease throttle, ease brakes...
One of the hardest things to do with a paramotor is a forward launch with no wind. Scott and Paul got their share of no wind launch practice last Friday. Both improved significantly with every try. Nice work guys!
One of the requirements before taking your first flight is to "kite" a wing for 2 minutes straight without it touching the ground. Alex is getting good at kiting and if the wind cooperates I'm sure he'll be able to surpass the needed 2 minute mark. Keep on practicing Alex!!
