Busy couple of days at the hanger.
Wednesday Gabe stopped by with his Dad to take a tandem flight with Mariyan. He wanted to confirm PPG was something he wanted to get into. I’m pretty sure he was convinced before he even left the ground. Mike and Paul, a couple of Madcity Paragliding graduates, were also on hand to enjoy the great evening. Mike actually drove all the way from Duluth to be there! Adam nearly completed the required 25 flights he needs to earn his PPG2 rating. His flight count now sits at 24. Just one more and he will be released to fly on his own! Thursday I met Ed from Superior for the complimentary hour and a half orientation which ended up taking a bit over three hours by the time we parted ways. He tried on a couple motors, sat in the simulator and even played with the wings a bit. PPG is one of the few things left on Ed’s bucket list. After that I spent the evening with Dane. We were able to get a couple of nice flights in before he ran out of gas and the mosquitoes became intolerable. Way to go Dane!
