The winds were too strong to fly around Madison Sunday morning. So, before the sun came up I drove up to meet Nick at his field north of Montello where the forecast was for lighter winds. Nick has set up a beautiful grass strip on his property that worked great!
Then it was off to Sauk City to do some paraglider towing with the Jeep. Unfortunately, something in the clutch broke on the way there causing the Jeep to make a terrible squealing noise when shifting. I just hoped it would last through the towing session. The breeze was right inline with the road which allowed us to do several nice and high toes. We called it quits shortly before sunset. The Jeep made it almost all the way home before the clutch gave up entirely and left me on the side of the road. Another long adventure filled day with Madcity Paragliding.
